After 2 years in the making with the Animal Physio group (APG) of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, 10 authors and an incredible amount of work from all involved, we finally have our educational pathway up and running in Australia to become an Animal Physiotherapist.

We ran our first level 1 Animal Physiotherapy course at Gatton campus UQ which was 2 days canine and 2 days equine. I had the pleasure of presenting again with Dr Helen Nicholson from Sydney for the canine days. Thanks to Dr Lesley Goff for all her hard work as conveynor (and equine presenter with Katrina Vareco-cox) the course ran very smoothly.

I hope this was enjoyed by all. It was an exhausting but very rewarding couple of days.

We will run this again next year in Melbourne after the APA Physiotherapy Conference in October.
