The casting I made for Emma for an Ortho Pets Brace has been a great success. She took to it like a duck to water (at 13 yo you can teach an old dog new tricks!). As this is the 2nd leg to have a cruciate ligament rupture (with surgery done previously on the other), and due to her age the owners have opted for this brace.

It cost effective, lightweight and provided much needed stability to her stifle to be able to build muscle again. We had it casted and sent to US (turn around 2-3 weeks) care of www.dogsinmotion.com.au in Melbourne (thanks for your help Michelle!).

We are slowly weaning her into the brace and I look forward to seeing her get back on track in the coming months.
