I was sent this picture yesterday. Bonnie finally made it home to north Qld after 5 weeks in rehabilitation with us at NCVS. She had spine surgery for disc prolapse in her thoracolumbar spine. It took us quite a few weeks of intensive physiotherapy and veterinary management to get some movement back in her legs and control of her bladder.

She is now comfortable and obviously happy. With daily underwater treadmill and diet control we managed to lose some weight which has made a big difference to her recovery. Bonnie was an absolute joy to work with and she will be missed but it sure is a great feeling to see them smiling back in their own home. With such amazingly dedicated owners I am sure she will continue to improve.
