nThe little 1yo chihuahua Germaine has overcome a C1-2 spinal cord injury. Following surgery from Dr Mitchell at NCVS, Germaine is slowly recovering with hard work from her dedicated owners. Having been tetraplegic (4 leg paralysis) he has undergone intensive physiotherapy with me and is now starting to swim and attempt to stand and walk. Of course you need to crawl before you walk but he is progressing at a rapid rate and I am amazed at his recovery so far.
nSuch a gorgeous dog – and a lucky one at that I should think!
